This workshop will take teachers through the engineering design cycle in a fun, hands-on, inquiry-based activity that they can easily bring into their own classrooms after! We will explore how engineering relates to the ADST curriculum and how you can incorporate that empathy portion of applied design stages by building a narrative around STEM activities. Empathy can be a valuable entrepreneurial skill, as well as life skill, as it enables people to identify problems others may be facing and, from there, develop solutions. Join us while we explore how to teach empathy and how to incorporate it into design thinking!
