Unplugged Coding Activities for the Primary Classroom

This workshop will be a hands on exploration of various unplugged activities that teachers can use in their classrooms. Teachers will leave with activities that can be implemented quickly in their classrooms without purchasing expensive materials. Connections will be made between the activities and the Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies curriculum.

  • Megan Cleaveley

    Megan Cleaveley is currently teaching Grade 3 and 4 French Immersion at École Lac des Bois. Megan began her teaching career as a TTOC in School District 22 and taught for several years in Cairo, Egypt before returning to Canada and beginning teaching in School District 57. Having spent her entire career wroking with Second Language Learners, Megan is passionate about making activities accessible for all learners.
