Play on Words - Primary Literacy Games and Activities

Come prepared to play hands-on literacy games that are perfect for your differentiated centers, whole class or small group instruction.  Participants will learn how to socially distance the activities as well as how to adapt our literacy resources with easy to find dollar store items so that parents can support student learning at home.   You will see literacy dice and letter tiles and adaptations.   Concepts covered include:  learning the alphabet and its' sounds rhyme and word families, vocabulary development, spelling simple CVC and multi-syllable words.  Gameboards provided.  PARTICIPANTS NEED TO CUT APART THE LETTERS IN THE PDF HANDOUT BEFORE THE SESSION.
