Paint Pouring with Sarah and Marlo (Note: Offsite/All day at College Heights Secondary in Prince George)

Come spend a morning with Sarah Addison (art teacher extraordinaire) and Marlo Mahoney (paint pouring artist) at College Heights Secondary School learning various techniques used in the art of using acrylic liquid paint to create beautiful abstract masterpieces. You do not need to have any artistic talent beyond being able to choose colors and mixing paint - the paint does all the 'art work' for you. This type of art not only allows for freedom of expression but also allows your mind to escape the trials and tribulations of life. Each participant will come out of the workshop with 2 canvases they have created to take home and proudly hang on the wall. Come prepared to get messy!!!  Workshop will run from 9:00-12:00, lunch will be ordered in, and the space will be open in the afternoon if you want to stay and play, or you could go over to PGSS if you want to regsiter for an afternoon workshop.

To Bring/Important Notes

Please wear something you can get covered in paint, including shoes. You will be supplied with 2 smaller canvases and all the paints required, but if you'd like to have a larger canvas feel free to bring one with you. Bring a water bottle if you'd like. Coffee, tea, and muffins will be provided for the morning snack. We hope to start at 9am, so unfortunately the key note will not be a part of the program. Early start time will allow paintings to dry (hopefully). We will end the session at lunch, which is on your own, but will keep the fun rolling in the afternoon for anyone who wants to come back and paint some more (please bring your own canvas for this). There will be door prizes as well!!! Looking forward to seeing every one at College Heights Secondary School (west end of town on Domano Blvd), in the art room (which is downstairs at the end of the main hallway)
