This will be a repeated and enhanced session from the one I did for the C2C conference back in the Fall. I will continue to give examples and helpful tips for designing your own digital choice boards for remote, hybrid, and in-class learners as well as speak to the importance of a place led approach to this work, particularly during the pandemic and beyond. I will also touch on an Indigenous Perspective and why "We take care of this Place" is so important now more than ever before.
Educators, teacher candidates, and facilitators, looking to further outdoor learning practices outdoors with students who are on remote learning as well as for those who attend on site
Just yourself, some curiosity and a willingness to engage and learn together!
Hi! I’m Alexa. I’m a Mentor Support Teacher (early primary and numeracy focus) here in the lower mainland, in Coquitlam BC district 43
I co chair our local Environmental Education specialist association here in Coquitlam and presented at the last two C2C conferences. I continueto be so inspired by the offerings of this network of amazing educators so I’m back for more!
I’m also a mom of two girls 6 and 3 who spend most of their time in sparkles and tutus while sitting in puddles and adopting snails and centipedes.
