Artist Inquiry: From Study to Studio
An experiment combining biographical research with art exploration lead to a transformation in art methodology in Bryan’s classroom. He will share with you how inquiries into the methods and materials that artists used lead to vibrant, self-directed and successful art classes with amazing student investment and productivity in the production of their own art portfolios.

Bryan Gidinski
Bryan Gidinski is an intermediate elementary school teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. He currently serves as a Program Consultant in the Burnaby School District. He has a passion for writing and enjoys facilitating rich writing experiences for students, so that they develop comfort and become experimental with language and composition. He is also an advocate for ensuring that LGBTQ+ students see themselves reflected in curricular resources, lessons, and conversations.
