Experience an engaging and hands-on exploration of CTC and Trades programming at CNC!
Join us at 8:45 AM for coffee and snacks. This full-day session will start at 9:00 AM with an overview of the Career Technical Center (CTC) and CNC Trades Programs. There will be presentations from past students and CNC Recruitment. Next, we will go on a tour of the trades areas at CNC, then break off into selected specializations for some fun hands-on activities. Choose one of the following options to explore: Heavy Duty Mechanics, Welding, Electrical or Civil Engineering Technology. In these areas you will participate in trades related activities under the guidance of students, a great way to experience the Trades and Technology student perspective at CNC. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM. After lunch, we will tour a civil engineering building site in Prince George.
Steel toed boots are required. Other required PPE will be provided on site. Please wear work clothes - long sleeves, workpants/jeans), etc., and tie-back long hair.
