Will introduce and share resources, toolkits, and materials that Farm to School BC (F2SBC) has to offer educators interested in food literacy and hands-on learning integration within their classrooms and schools. F2SBC's focus supports educators in the areas of food literacy including engagement in the garden, on the land, in the classroom, and in the kitchen. F2SBC resources cover topics such as school garden mentorship, learning from the land, curriculum connections, seasonal indoor and outdoor activities, lesson plans, and more. During the workshop, our Learning from the Land Toolkit, Garden Workshop Series, and seasonal activity guides will be the focus, speaking to how educators can integrate these within their spring and summer lesson plans, planning for outdoor classrooms, indoor and outdoor gardens, and cross-curriculum hands-on lesson plans. Access to fall and winter resources for planning will also be shared. Find out more on F2SBC by visiting https://farmtoschoolbc.ca/
