Workshop participants will consider barriers to teaching about the climate change emergency and develop solutions to overcome these barriers. Teachers will also learn strategies to support students in using critical thinking skills to approach climate change through a solutions based approach. (new name for Climate Justice)

Jason Anderson is a Social Studies, English and Theatre Teacher from the Surrey School District, currently teaching at Ecole Salish Secondary. He has been a facilitator with the BCTF for the past 3 years and has presented at a number of conferences across the province. When not working, Jason loves to travel with his partner, having been to Australia, Mexico, France, England and the Carribean all within the last year.
