Did you know that 1.7% of the population are born intersex?
Here in Canada we've made leaps and bounds towards creating a more inclusive place to live, learn, work and play. But, there is still more work to be done. As teachers, parents and students, you have the ability to change, advocate, and create a better future for those identifying as 2SLGBTQI+.
In this 1.5 hour interactive workshop you will learn:
Gender terminology and 2SLGBTQI+ acronym defined.
What pronouns are and why it's important to use them correctly.
Understanding exclusive vs. inclusive language.
Ways you can create 2SLGBTQI+ inclusion in your school and community.
