Becoming a Certified Healthy School Community

DASH is piloting a Healthy School Communities Certification initiative. It is a 6-step process meant to be completed over the course of a year to support and increase the capacity of schools to address a priority health topic. It is a great way for schools to celebrate and formally recognize their achievements relating to Healthy Schools.

During the workshop, Kaitlyn will:

1. Give a brief explanation of the 6-step process

2. Share stories and successes from past and current Certified Healthy Schools

3. Set aside time for attendees to work through some of the steps in small groups with support from Kaitlyn.
