Dakelh Ways of Knowing - Foraging

This is a land-based, experiential workshop best suited for a teacher and indigenous education worker coming as a pair (or group if more than one teacher wants to attend). This is a chance to learn how to use the new land-based foraging kits from the District Learning Commons. We will be out on the land using them as a class would.

Location: RAINBOW PARK - 3800 Rainbow Dr, Prince George, BC V2M 7E5 (THIS HAS CHANGED)
Meet on Spruceland Traditional Side. We will start off from there at 1pm so be there earlier please. Time: 1pm - 3pm. To bring: Bug spray, long sleeved stuff, not dark clothing (dont look like a tasty bear), proper footwear!, water bottle, snack (garbage goes out with you!!). We will be providing backpacks and foraging equipment.

Thanks, from co-facilitators Sherrie Pearce, Imani Miller, Dora Himmelspach, Kelsey MacDonald, and Joseph Jeffery.
