Ozobots and Little Bits - Technology in the Classroom

This hands on workshop allows teachers to play, explore and learn about ways to incorporate STEM in the classroom.  Using the teaching tools Ozobots and Little Bits this workshop allows for lots of exploration time, question and answer and learning.  Littlebits are an easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower you to invent anything. Ozobots are a little robot that blends the physical and digital worlds. Each Ozobot robot can identify lines, colors, and follow along interpreting the code on paper. Explore ways to integrate elements of the Applied Design, Skills and Technologies curriculum in your classrooms. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

    Trish is an educator at the HR MacMillan Space Centre in Vancouver BC.  Trish has worked in education for the past 10 years her focus for the last 4 years has been expanding STEM education in Northern BC.  Having grown up in a small community she is passionate about bringing new and unique educational opportunities to remote areas of the province.
