    Jennifer Pighin

    Jennifer is a member of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation with Witsuwit’un, French and Italian ancestry and part of the Git'umden (Bear Clan). Jennifer is currently employed as Vice-Principal of Language and Culture within School District 57 Indigenous Education Department. As a Dakelh language learner she has worked closely with local Elders to develop curriculum and resources to help teach the Dakelh language.

    Edith Frederick is a Lheidli T'enneh Elder and Knowledge Holder, mentor and cultural advisor. She is a semi-fluent speaker of Dakelh in the Lheidli T'enneh dialect.
